I don't think it's that we lack measurements, it's that it is very objective. I am used to Android and when I tried an iPhone, I couldn't get it to work because I didn't know all the little tips and tricks despite many Apple fans saying that "clearly" the iPhone UX was the most superior.

The truth is that there is probably not much in the UX that is fundamentally better or worse apart from the animation side of things and possibly the higher res screens in some instances, most of it is just different.
