If you mean the one on iOS, that's a proprietary knock-off that's pretty terrible:

Afaik this one cannot connect to Ankiweb, therefore you can't sync your status with other devices.

It does seem to offer sync, too. Not sure how well the sync works, but the app says it will sync.
